Celebrating Precisa’s 90th Anniversary: A Special Day on the Brienzer Rothorn

Our journey started early in the morning at 7:30 a.m. in Dietikon. We travelled by coach towards Brienz, with a relaxing coffee break along the way. With bright sunshine and a cloudless blue sky, the conditions for our anniversary trip could hardly have been better.

A Look Behind the Scenes

After arriving in Brienz, we were given a fascinating behind-the-scenes look at the workshop of the Brienz Rothorn Railway. During the tour, we had the opportunity to see first-hand how much expertise, craftsmanship and passion go into maintaining and servicing the historic steam locomotives.

Then it was time for one of the highlights of the day: the journey up the Brienzer Rothorn by steam train. At a leisurely pace, we made our way up the mountain, with increasingly spectacular views of the surrounding Alpine landscape and the deep blue waters of Lake Brienz.

Lunch with a View

Once we reached the top of the Rothorn, we were rewarded with fantastic panoramic views under an almost perfectly cloudless sky. At the Kulm restaurant, we enjoyed lunch together and had plenty of time to take in the scenery and, most importantly, enjoy each other’s company.

The cheerful and relaxed atmosphere showed that this day was about more than celebrating two company anniversaries. It was a wonderful opportunity to spend time together away from our daily routines, catch up with colleagues and celebrate what we have achieved together.

After lunch, we took the steam train back down to Brienz. From there, our coach brought us back to Dietikon, bringing a truly memorable anniversary celebration to a close.

90 years of Precisa and 50 years of balances represent decades of experience, precision and innovation, but above all, they represent the people who have shaped our history and continue to do so today.

Our anniversary trip to the Brienzer Rothorn was a wonderful way to celebrate these important milestones together. Fantastic weather, breathtaking scenery and a great atmosphere made it a day we will remember for a long time to come.
