New Semi-Micro Balance Expands the Precisa 520 Series

Precisa is pleased to introduce the PB 125SM-DR, the newest member of the 520 Series and the first model in the series to offer semi-micro weighing performance.

The new balance features a dual-range weighing system with 0.01 mg readability up to 52 g and a total capacity of 125 g. This combination enables highly accurate measurements while providing the flexibility required for a wide range of laboratory applications.

Built on the proven 520 Series platform, the PB 125SM-DR offers excellent repeatability, a low minimum sample weight, and reliable performance for demanding weighing tasks. It is an ideal solution for laboratories requiring precise semi-micro weighing without compromising usability and efficiency.

New Minimum Sample Weight Application

Alongside the new balance model, Precisa has also introduced a Minimum Sample Weight application for the 520 PB Series. The application helps users establish and monitor minimum sample weight limits directly on the balance, ensuring defined weighing accuracy requirements are met.

This feature is particularly beneficial for laboratories operating according to USP 41 – Weighing on an Analytical Balance, where compliance with minimum sample weight requirements is essential for achieving reliable quantitative results.
