Add-On function Checkweigher
With the aid of the Add-On function Checkweigher you can check each measurement for its agreement with a defined reference weight (nominal weight) plus/minus an allowable tolerance limit (upper limit, lower limit).
The nominal weight can either be set manually in the menu or with the soft button [Set nominal] as well as be captured directly by the balance with the soft button [Capture nominal]; the tolerance limits can be set manually in the menu or with the soft buttons [Set upper limit] and [Set lower limit].

Setting the acoustic signal for the three ranges lower, in and upper

If, as soon as the acoustic signal is switched ON, the following message appears,...

… advice tone in the system settings must be set to either soft or loud.

Applying the lower signal in the range between 50% of TU and TU
TU = lower limit

Applying the lower signal in the range between 0% of TU (=0.000 g) and TU
TU = lower limit
0.000 g will not sound

Using the signal lamp

Installation of the signal lamp:
- The signal lamp must be connected to the RS232 serial port (DB9 connector on the back side of the balance) .
- The port settings "Baudrate" and "Parity" of the RS232 serial port (see in the menu "System settings - Data exchange- Serial port") must correspond to the settings on the signal lamp (See on the label on the bottom of the lamp).
- Note that it is not necessary to set the "Serial port" setting to ON in order to use the signal lamp.
Soft buttons
Available soft buttons:

Setting the nominal weight, upper limit and lower limit via soft buttons
E.g. press the soft button [Set upper limit].

Enter the upper limit as a weight tolerance.

Enter the upper limit as a percentage tolerance.

Capturing the nominal weight directly from the balance via soft button
Place the reference weight (nominal weight) on the balance pan. Press the soft button [Capture nominal].

The nominal weight will be captured...

As a result the captured nominal weight will be stored in the settings.

Checkweighing

Upper limit
Displayed as a stroke in the bar graph attended by the value in the current weight unit.
Defined either as the upper limit in the current weight unit or as the maximum positive percentage deviation from the nominal weight.
Lower limit
Displayed as a stroke in the bar graph attended by the value in current weight unit.
Defined either as the lower limit in the current weight unit or as the maximum negative percentage deviation from the nominal weight.
Nominal weight
Displayed as a stroke in the bar graph.
Defined as the nominal weight in the current weight unit.
Weight is below the lower limit

Weight is within the lower and the upper limit

Weight above the upper limit
