Setting-up the protocol output

A general protocol can be defined, valid for all applications by use of the system settings Protocol for the GLP Header and GLP Footer as well as for the type of the protocol. As far as the header and footer are concerned, however, the settings for the protocol output can be set individually per application if this general protocol is not required.

Define the GLP Header and the GLP Footer

Depending what you like to define choose the Header or the Footer.

Define the layout

By clicking the [Edit] button an extensive selection of pre-defined text/functions items are presented. By selecting them they are moved to the right column. Representing the protocol-layout.

Moving items

The items can be moved by drag & drop functionality.

Deleting items

By selecting the items, they turn to red. Additionally a waste bin is shown in the lower left corner. By selecting the waste bin the selected items is deleted.

Protocol Items

Most of the Items are self-explaining or have a description where those can be defined.

Please note that you have to set the text paragraphs so that they appear in the appropriate place in the log.
