Add-On function Protocol
Basically the settings for the protocol can be set per application individually. However if this is not wanted a general protocol GLP Header and GLP Footer can be defined, valid for all applications. This can be accomplished in the systems settings in the menu Protocol. The item GLP header or GLP footer can then be added here to the header’s or footer’s layout.
Concept
The output of a protocol is divided in 3 blocks (Header, Measurement, Footer). Each of these blocks are controlled by so called triggers. After activation (on / off switch) each of the blocks can be designed with text/function items according to the specific requirements.
Trigger
A trigger can be associated to a Soft-Button or to a measurement. In case a smart button is allocated, the specific button must be placed / introduced with the Customizer in the Action bar. Doing so, the printout of the associated block can be started by this Soft-Button.
If the trigger is associated to a measurement (Attending measurement), the header or footer is printed out as soon the trigger conditions of the block Measurement is fulfilled.
Example Header
The following task is supposed to define the
header block:
- Choose the Trigger, here Attending
measurement
- Define the layout with the [Edit]
button
Example Measurement
The following task is supposed to define the
header block:
- Choose the Trigger, here [Print]
each value
- Define the layout with the [Edit]
button
Example Footer
The following task is supposed to define the
footer block:
- Choose the Trigger, here Attending
measurement
- Define the layout with the [Edit]
button
Creation of a protocol layout
The following procedure is for all 3 blocks identical
Define the layout
By clicking the [Edit] button an extensive selection of pre-defined text/function items are presented on the left side. By selecting an item it will be copied to the right side; representing the protocol-layout. This procedure can be repeated until your protocol is defined.
Moving items
The items can be moved by drag & drop functionality, but it has to be held for approx. 2s until it appears in green.
Deleting items
By selecting an item this turns to red. Pressing the waste bin symbol deletes it.
Protocol Items
Most of the Items are self-explaining or have a description where those can be defined.
