Add-On function Units / Free Conversion
With the aid of the Add-On function Units; you can display and print out the measuring result in different units. The activity of the add-on function is indicated in current application screen by a small icon.
Place the soft button of the interchangeable unit e.g. mg on the Action bar to switch between the displays of the two units back and forth. For further information about the Action bar please refer to the customizer.
Unit
Choose the primary weighing unit for the application.
Interchangeable unit
Choose the secondary weighing unit for the application.
Units with free conversion
For some applications non standard units or
customized units are needed. By using the Free Conversion function,
customized units can be generated.
Free conversion units
are by default named as U1 until U4. Choose
one of this as the primary weighing unit to get access to define the
free conversion unit as below.
Note, once the free conversion
unit is defined it is saved and can be used as all other units for
the primary weighing unit or interchangeable weighing unit.
Unit
Choose one of the free conversion units, by default named as U1 until U4, as the primary weighing unit to get access to is settings.
Display unit name
Name of the units displayed in the units list. The designation of a free unit is restricted to prevent misinterpretations with the standard units.
Print unit name
Designation of the printed free unit. The length of the name is limited to 5 figures.
Factor
Conversion factor for which is multiplied/divided by the net-value

Rounding steps
Rounding step with in 1, 2 or 5 digits
Reciprocal
Depending on the settings, the result is calculated as follows:
Inverse factor off: free unit = Factor x net value [g]
Inverse factor on: free unit = 1/Factor x net value [g]
