Setting Adjustment

Define the different modes and settings for adjustment processes.
If the balance is equipped with a self calibration system and the automatic calibration mode is set you can optionally define the behavior of the balance in case an adjustment of the balance is required.

NOTE: Depending on the adjustment mode settings, the menu layout changes accordingly.

Adjustment external

The balance must be adjusted manually with an external weight.

Protocol

Executes, after a calibration, a printout of the calibration protocol

External Defined

The balance must be adjusted manually with an external weight where the real value is known and which can be entered here. By using this feature the systematic error can be eliminated and is often used for weights with a known deviation from the nominal weight.

Adjustment weight [g]

Enter the real known value of the calibration weight.

Weight ID

Switches on the use of an ID for the calibration weight and enables to enter an alphanumeric identification

Protocol

Executes, after a calibration, a printout of the calibration protocol

Internal (only available if the balance is equipped with a self calibration system)

The adjustment is triggered manually and executed by the internal calibration weight of the self calibration system SCS

Protocol

Executes, after a calibration, a printout of the calibration protocol

Automatic (only available if the balance is equipped with a self calibration system)

The adjustment is triggered automatically and executed by the internal calibration weight of the self calibration system. To trigger the adjustment a combination of time and temperature criteria are possible. Optional you can define the behavior of the balance in case an adjustment of the balance is required.

Automatic mode

Depending on the settings the following actions can be set in case the balance needs an adjustment.

Temperature controlled

Switches on the use of temperature criteria as trigger and enables to enter the criteria.

Δ Temperature [°C]

The balance is automatically adjusted (or a corresponding warning is given, depending on the setting of Automatic mode) once the current temperature since the last adjustment has changed more then this value.

Time controlled

Switches on the use of time criteria as trigger and enables to enter the criteria.

Time

The balance is automatically adjusted (or a corresponding warning is given, depending on the setting of Automatic mode) at the selected time.

Protocol

Executes, after a calibration, a printout of the calibration protocol
